Crushed!!!

Woe is Me!!! The Dad doesn't need hearing aids and won't for a couple of years probably!!! The V.A. sent him to a hearing clinic (or some such thing) in Marion, Il. to have his hearing checked and, wouldn't you know it: he doesn't need them! He asked the lady who did the testing for a statement in writing! She laughed and said she hears that a lot. Well, he doesn't hear high tones but it is not bad enough yet. Now I will just have to be meaner about his hearing or lack thereof!

As for me, I have 2 more weeks of classes and then any make-up work that remains (I think I'm OK there) and a BIG self-evaluation paper that I have to have in by 2 weeks after the class is done if not before. The instructor (s) do one on me also and we sit down with it and discuss it. It has to be done within those 2 weeks too. I am hoping to have mine done before class is done!! I dearly HATE these things because I dearly HATE all that Me, Me, Me! That is the worst thing about the incident reports and verbatims also: I did this..., I did that..., I said this, etc. etc. Oh, and we have to do peer evaluations too but he hasn't said, this time, to be creative!! He said that at the 1/2 way mark and so I did. It was around Easter and so I made paper Easter baskets and tucked candy inside and wrote the positive evals on one side and the negative (tiny) things I wrote in poetry form on the back--you all know my dumb poetry. They really got a bang out of them. All the guys just wrote theirs on plain paper and just a sentence or 2. Not very creative, but I expect theirs was Acceptable. And here I am doing the "I" thing (that I purport to hate)without being told to.
Sarah, if you are reading this, please send me your blog address again: it disappeared when my computer died. Thanks.

Have a great week and God bless.

Good thing about the hearing aids, those can be expensive. You sound like an amazing woman
