Only in Kentucky!
At last we have a new water heater (that we were to have gotten Nov. 5th-but that's another story). The "other plumber" whom we hired after the first one didn't come-or call or anything even after we had contacted them--(But that's another story and I digress from this one..). This guy came the first time he said he would and did a fast and great job. So what is the "only in KY" thing: a couple of days after he had finished the job, he called wanting to talk to The Dad. The problem? He had forgotten how much he quoted for the job and wanted clarification!! "Do you remember how much I told you I'd charge?" Only here would that happen! And, when the bill came? Well, he had charged a tiny bit more but gave a great couple of discounts which made it less than The Dad told him!
